Wayne Weber
Senior Manager
Wayne has worked with A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. since 2002. Wayne was an audit partner with a CA firm having joined that firm in 1981. Wayne was a Partner and provided audit, accounting and tax services to both private and public sector clients.
Wayne left public practice in 2000 to become the chief financial officer for a high tech startup company on Prince Edward Island. As often happens in our industry, we met Wayne while working with that company on a financial restructuring in 2002.
Wayne now practices primarily in our income tax division (bankruptcy) and in our corporate practice. He also is registered with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy as a qualified Insolvency Counsellor and advises consumers both prior to and during their bankruptcy or proposals.
Wayne resides in Prince Edward Island and works from our Charlottetown office. He speaks English, French and German.

Lawrence (Larry) Crandall
Senior Manager
Larry obtained his law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2005. He was admitted to the Law Society of New Brunswick shortly after and then continued to practice with a law firm in Saint John, NB. Larry’s law practice was focused on corporate and commercial insolvency but he also worked on consumer files on behalf of creditors.
Larry joined A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in 2009 and is entering his final year of studies towards becoming a licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy. Larry is fluently bilingual.
Larry is a refreshing professional who wants to help individuals and entrepreneurs who need a FreshStart. He works in both the corporate and consumer practices of A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc.

Kristi Stuart
Senior Manager
Kristi is fluently bilingual and has worked with us since 2003. She previously worked in the financial services sector, working primarily in client service.
She is in her fourth year of the CAIRP National Insolvency Qualification Program to become a licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy.
Kristi spends most of her time in our consumer practice and is responsible for ensuring that those who contact us for initial assistance with their financial difficulties are looked after. She is warm and outgoing and provides advice in a professional and empathetic manner.

Francyne Filion Hunter
Senior Manager
Francyne joined us in 2011. Francyne was previously with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy in many capacities, most recently as the Division Assistant Superintendent for the Atlantic Region. Francyne works primarily in our consumer practice.
Francyne obtained her law degree in 2001 from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She articled with a prestigious local law firm and was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar Society shortly thereafter. Francyne practiced in private/public practice for a number of years before recently broadening her horizons with our office. Francyne is currently enrolled in the CQP program and is studying to become a licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy.
Francyne resides in Nova Scotia and works from our Halifax office, although she is happy to help people throughout the province. She speaks French and English. -
Angela Rodgers
Senior Associate
Angela is a graduate of the NBCC Business Program and has worked with us since August 2000. She is a qualified Insolvency Administrator having completed the CAIRP certification program.
Angela currently manages our consumer proposals but has practiced in all areas of consumer insolvency. She assists with staff training and also manages our technology.
Angela is our “go to” person who calmly and quietly gets to the right answer.

Karen St. Onge
Senior Associate
Karen joined A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in 2000. While she has worked in most areas of our practice, she is now our estate bookkeeper. In that capacity, she manages most of the accounting functions related to our trust accounts.
Karen has a great sense of humor and can find the lighter side of almost any situation.

Shelley Smith
Senior Associate
Shelley came to us in 2008 with over 17 years experience working in both corporate and personal insolvency. She is a qualified Insolvency Administrator having completed the CAIRP certification program. She is also a qualified Insolvency Counsellor registered with Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.
Because of her extensive experience, she fills a multitude of roles on an “as needed” basis in the office. Shelley currently also looks after our Division 1 (ordinary) personal and corporate proposals.
We all love to visit Shelley’s office as she always has a cupboard full of candy!

Shannon Boucher

Shannon joined A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. upon graduating from the NBCC Business Program. She completed her work term with us in the spring of 2010 and we are very happy that she agreed to join us full-time.
Shannon is cheerful and outgoing. She works with Heather Campbell and so she will be one of the people you speak to when you call to discuss your file.

Heather Campbell

Heather joined A.C. Poirier and Associates Inc. in October 2009. She came to us with over 15 years experience in personal bankruptcy administration and currently manages the administration of our summary administration (personal) bankruptcy files.
Heather is registered as an Insolvency Counsellor with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and is a qualified Insolvency Administrator having completed the CAIRP qualification program.
Heather is kind and even tempered. She willingly passes on her knowledge to her staff in the office and efficiently manages many competing demands every day.

Denise Côté

Denise graduated from the New Brunswick Community College Bilingual Office Management program prior to joining A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in June 2009.
Denise hails from Grand Falls and is fluently bilingual. She helps on the switchboard and does various administrative duties with respect to our consumer proposal and bankruptcy services.
Denise is actively involved in our staff social committee.

Sandra Godin

Sandra joined A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in 2002 which enabled her to return from Toronto to her beloved Saint John. Prior to joining us Sandra worked for 7 years in the head office of a major CA firm.
Since joining us, Sandra has worked as a bankruptcy administrator in our consumer bankruptcy practice and for several years she has been our receptionist and switch board operator. Amazingly, while doing that, she also continues to do many functions in our consumer bankruptcy practice.
Sandra has a good sense of humour and a willing attitude. She is always prepared to help with whatever needs doing and just gets on with it.

Laura Hatfield

Laura joined us in 2008 after completing the Business Administration program at the New Brunswick Community College. Laura is registered with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy as a qualified Insolvency Counsellor and she is fluently bilingual. Laura continues to work with us full-time while she pursues her Bachelor of Applied Management at the University of New Brunswick. She then intends to become a Trustee in Bankruptcy.
Laura currently spends most of her time helping people by telephone and in person when they come to our offices seeking help with their financial difficulty.
Laura is a happy and outgoing individual with a high energy level. She gets a kick out of life!

Gail Kelley

Gail was our first employee. She joined us shortly after completing the Business Administration program at the New Brunswick Community College.
At that time she handled everything in the office from sending faxes to helping people cut through the complexities of their personal financial difficulties.
Gail is a “people person” and spends her day assisting people in person and by telephone. Gail is one of the people you will first encounter when you contact our office. You may also see her at a financial counseling session during your bankruptcy or proposal process. She is a qualified Insolvency Administrator having completed the CAIRP certification program.
Gail is very cheerful and is often caught singing in the office.

Sonia Hart

Sonia joined us in 2006 after graduating from the Business Administration program at the New Brunswick Community College in Saint John. She is currently enrolled in the CAIRP Insolvency Administrators course. Sonia has been involved in virtually all aspects of our consumer bankruptcy practice and is currently responsible for the bankruptcy discharges and court proceedings.
Sonia has a very sunny personality and wants everyone who deals with her to feel appreciated and respected.

Sara St. Onge

Sara started working with us when she was still in high school. She started out doing clerical duties after school and during the summer. Sara quickly took on more and more responsibilities and we were very pleased when she decided to join us full-time in 2005.
She is currently enrolled in the CAIRP Insolvency Administrator’s program and is training to take over various accounting functions in the office.
Sara handles an incredible amount of work and is extremely organized and efficient. She is the person who prepares most of the documents people sign when they file for bankruptcy or file a proposal.
She loves the technical aspects of insolvency and we often find her talking the law with Larry!

Robbi-Leigh O'Dell

Robbi-Leigh joined A. C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in early 2011. She worked for 4 years with a chartered bank prior to joining us. Robbi-Leigh is a graduate of the Business Administration Certificate (Level 1&2) program at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John. She works in our Halifax office and is looking forward to enrolling in the CAIRP Insolvency Administrators course.
Robbi-Leigh is soft spoken and always pleasant and loves her dog.

Tina Collins

Tina joined A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in September 2011. Prior to joining our office, Tina received her B.A. in Classics and Ancient History from the University of New Brunswick where she graduated with second degree honours. Tina has a high level of energy and a spirit that is shown throughout her professional career.
Tina is fluently bilingual, she can assist in both English and French.

Jessica McFarlane

Jessica joined A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in June of 2011. Prior to joining our office, Jessica completed the Business Administration and Accounting program at the New Brunswick Community College in Saint John.
Jessica helps administer our personal bankruptcy files and is fluently bilingual. She is quiet and efficient and always willing to see the lighter side of life.

Jean Spence

Jean joined A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in 2011. The office relies on Jean for filing, sending creditor packages and other administrative matters.
Jean has a “can do” attitude and gladly helps the office by pitching in with whatever is necessary.

Julie Molasky

Julie has over 8 years of experience in most aspects of personal insolvency and currently manages the administration of our consumer proposal files.
Julie is registered as an Insolvency Counsellor with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and is a qualified Insolvency Administrator having completed the CAIRP qualification program. She is a Commissioner of Oaths in both New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Julie is outgoing, loves to laugh and likes to be busy.

Kathy MacPherson

Kathy joined A.C. Poirier & Associates Inc. in November of 2011. Kathy came to us with close to 20 years’ experience in the service industry, working mostly in client service. Currently, Kathy administers our consumer bankruptcy files and is one of your first contacts with us when you have questions about your bankruptcy.
Kathy is easy going and truly enjoys helping clients get a fresh start.
